Install the Software
Download the zip file. To install the software:
- Unzip file, "IFSeg10.zip", to a folder;
- Click file, “ImageFinderSeg.exe”, in the folder to run.
The software requires an updated Windows to run.
To find an object, create an image of the object (cut and paste the object from the original image using Windows Paint).
This demo does not allow you to scale; it only allows you to search for an object in a different location with the same pixel size.
You will need four steps to search for an object:
- Select a Key Image (“1” button);
- Select a folder (“2” button);
- Select a N by M search grid, say 20 by 20;
- Search (“3” button).
To see the results:
- Click the Results “F” button (Figure 3);
- Click the Results “>” button (Figure 3).
